1. Making the First Dent Online: 1996

In September 1996, David’s computer courses started teaching him HTML instead of HyperTalk. Mr D’Arcy taught the entire class how to code in HTML. David’s first site, which were mainly focused on astronomy and tech, his two key interests, were spartan, but content-rich, and despite the blinking text, was included on the very first version of the website of his school, the Inter-Community School Zürich.

The archive you are seeing dates from May 1997, but David celebrates his 20th year online in 1996, as it was on 16 September 1996 that he coded his first full HTML page.

Since then, David has expanded his online presence. In 2006, to celebrate ten years online, he moved on to davidfeng.com. In 2016, he will celebrate his twentieth year on the Web.

1. 1996 年: 第一次建立网站

1996 年 9 月，冯琰在瑞士的电脑课老师达喜老师（Mr D’Arcy）将课堂的主要编程语言从 HyperTalk 改为互联网通用的 HTML。从此，冯琰开始学到如何创建网站。

1996 年 9 月 16 日，冯琰的第一版网站基本建成，虽然内容仍为简陋，但是已经基本成型，内容主要覆盖天文和技术（作为他当时感兴趣的两个话题）。该站即成为当时国际社会学校（Inter-Community School）的网站的一部分。现在的网站最早存档版本源自于 1997 年 5 月，但是内容仍为 1996 年 9 月版本，故建站日期仍为 1996 年 9 月。

冯琰的最新网站版本，已迁至独立域名 davidfeng.com，并在 2006 年，为庆祝建站 10 周年，正式启用。2016 年，他将庆祝建站 20 周年。
