David Feng, Mac, media and projects guy resident in Beijing; President of the Beijing Macintosh User Group and of the Beijing Macintosh Union, President of the Asia-Pacific Mac Union.

NEXT MAC APPEARANCES

  • November 10, 2007: BeiMac November 2007 meeting

David Feng is a faithful Mac user and has been one for the past 16 years, starting out with a Macintosh Classic. In 2002, he started with six other Mac users the Beijing Macintosh User Group, with a present-day membership of nearly 550.

He is an active Mac user, and is always willing to lend a hand to less skilled Mac people. This willingness to help earned him recognition from his elementary and secondary school and paved the way for nearly two full years of straight-A results in (Mac) computing class.

From the previous website "Why the Mac is so great.com" (now reformed) to the present-day BeiMac group and Union, Feng has been a Mac user through thick and thin, sticking with Apple through the rule of Sculley, Spindler, Amelio and now Jobs.

In 2006, he co-founded the Asia-Pacific Mac Union, which serves the Asia-Pacific area and links Mac communities around the region. He is also the Apple User Groups Asian Regional Liaison, covering all of Asia (except for Japan and Turkey), a position he has held since May 2003.
