On March 2, 2002, David Feng formed, along with Mac users from China, Japan, the US, Canada, Australia and Germany, the Beijing Macintosh User Group, which quickly became Beijing's international Mac group and one of the largest computer groups in China, with a membership of over 550.

The Beijing Macintosh User Group connects Mac users around the World together. It serves as the portal to the Chinese Mac world and links the outside world together with its international membership, multilingual resources, as well as through its active participation in the global Mac community. It is also active regionally as a founding member of the Asia-Pacific Mac Union.

Members at the BeiMac user group experience a broad array of unique benefits. The group is highly democratic and transparent, and is ruled by elected officers trusted by the membership.

The BeiMac user group is also part of the BeiMac Union, an umbrella organization of innovative and informative Mac organizations around China. The BeiMac Union includes user communities, a multilingual Mac knowledge base, multilingual Mac news sites, and audiovisual content.
